The months-long sweater
Mood:  chillin'
Now Playing: "Hang on to Your Love" by Sade

This is a picture of the Brown Sheep sweater I've been working on since the Summer. Actually, I haven't worked on it since October, when I realized that most of my knitting stuff had been packed away into various boxes, and I wasn't about to disturb those boxes that were all neat inside. So I had to order more tools from Countrywool. Claudia sent them promptly, as she always does, but I got busy with the Leslie Samson classes in November, and then the Christmas holidays.

Maybe hearing how other people are trying to finish up their UFO's will keep me working on this one. Then I have another sweater that I started back in 2000 that needs finishing too.

Helen, I have renewed my goal to "fish or cut bait". In other words, either finish or frog the UFOs that have been languishing in my closet. My tactic is to keep a UFO handy in the various places that I find myself each day. Last year I would carry my on-going project everywhere, but there were times where it was too much trouble to take it out. Now I have a project sitting on my desk at work with all my tools and materials neatly arranged instead of stuffed in my bag. I have another project sitting by my bedside table for when I watch TV. I may only do a row a day on each project, but that is one more row than I was doing when they were in my closet.

Dani;

I like your attitude. I need to frog several things just to get them out of the way. This sweater now is going back to residing by the recliner. Now that I'm home nights, with free time, I plan to knit and watch Law & Order, SVU. :)
